Yes, we are still waiting.....and waiting.....all in good time I know.....but it's hard not to get very excited at the thought of welcoming Elska's first litter! =0) Especially when I have no doubt that she will be a gem of a mother just like her dam Soley is.

It's strange because Ari was definately interested in her "smell" about two weeks ago and then seemed to stop last week....I was speaking to Lisa in New Hampshire who has Elska's littermate sister Disa and she said the same thing happened with Disa and her male Bjarki. These two girls have always cycled at the same time and it just seems uncanny that they attracted the attention of the boys and then lost their attention almost to the day of each other.

I suspect that within a few weeks Elska should start her heat and I will be sure to post any and all news as it occurs.
