Well, while we are waiting for Elska to start her heat I decided to do a set of agility classes with Ari. I would have liked to continue with Elska but seeing she was due to be in season I decided to let Ari have a turn.
We went to our first class on Friday and Ari was amazing. He was so happy and loved every second of it! He suprised me by doing off leash jump sequences even though he was new to the game. He did a regular chute first time asking(without the end held open!) and barrelled through the tunnels! We worked on our two on two off contacts on a plank...I think holding contacts is going to be his biggest challenge because like his dam he has little patience for a handlers instructions at times--he first showed this trait when we were playing with the sheep! Funny though, that is obedience he isn't demanding at all and in conformation he holds a stack for a long time without complaining. =0)
It was a great first class and he is such a fun boy to play with....his tail is ALWAYS wagging no matter what we are doing!
